Tax deductible giving

All gifts to the Northern Rivers Community Foundation ('the Trust') are tax deductible. Gifts can be money (over $2) or property, such as land, art work or shares.

The investment earnings from 'the Trust' can only be granted to community organisations who have Deductible Gift Recipient status from the ATO.

The different ways to give are:

to the pooled Local Giving Fund
to the Tony Narracott Youth Fund
to the Environment Fund
to the Southern Cross University - Bowen Education Fund
to the Bluefest Fund
to the Byron Shire Community Fund
to the Lismore Community Fund
to the Christopher and Lynda Dean Fund
to the Sollander Regional Youth Fund

You can also create a Named, Themed or Memorial Fund with a gift of at least $5000 initially in the first year, totalling $25,000 over 4 years.

A bequest can also be made to any of these Funds.
