How do we fund the Foundation’s costs?
The Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal and the Australian Government's Sustainable Regions Program funded the establishment of this Foundation.
Members of the Board and the various committees (management, marketing & promotions, events, grants and investment) all provide their time and expertise free of charge. Many of the professional services to the Foundation, such as legal and investment services, are also provided free of charge.The costs of a part time Executive Officer and miscellaneous office expenses are covered from donations specifically given for this purpose and are not taken from donations made for the purpose of supporting charities. Donors have the choice of making some percentage of their donation available for covering administrative costs.
